My Approach

I am a trauma-informed therapist who works with people who are struggling with relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, overwhelm and burnout. I specialize in supporting people who work in helping professions and creative fields.

I offer a space that is welcoming & kind, where together we work to explore past experiences, current ways of being and consider new ways forward.

I assist people in contacting and exploring the ways they relate to themselves and the world around them. It can feel risky to do things differently, but I believe that in a safe, trusted environment one can connect with the confidence to explore, practice and engage the world in new and profound ways.

I utilize a psychodynamic framework, helping clients uncover unconscious feelings, thoughts, beliefs and behaviors. Additionally, I pull from the Internal Family Systems Model and The Trauma Resiliency Mode helping clients explore their internal complexity in a deep and embodied way. I bring mindfulness- based skills and approaches that can help guide you to reconnect with your body and mind, contributing to regulation, insight and healing.

I believe in therapy and the healing that can come from sharing your experiences with another and doing the Heroic work of looking inward in order to create lasting change.

I believe that you can move from feelings of overwhelm and worry to a place of calm and safety. You can move from feeling stuck to finding freedom. From feeling alone to connectedness.
